In 2008, several deadly hurricanes struck Haiti, leaving many families homeless and food deprived.	With a crippled business sector, Haitian families struggle to make ends meet and provide the basic necessities for their children.	Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, with 80% of the population living under the poverty line and 54% in abject poverty.	F.O.C.O.M. is honored to be selected as the benefiting recipient of the Church of the Advent Hope's 7th Annual Holiday Benefit Concert which will take place on December 12th. Events are held throughout the year to support our goals. We bring together members of the communities for the wonderful purpose of raising money for our worthwhile cause.		Our projects are designed to improve the lives and communities in Haiti. We have various missions involving education, health and safety.
